What have I been up to?
So last week was my last week off of the summer. SAD:( But I had an amazing week! So here is what I did. I went to Penticton, BC. I have never been that far west in BC, and I can say it might be one of my favorite places. I stayed with a friend of mine and his family, who live on top of a mountain, yes it is true, on top of a mountain. The view was amazing, there house overlooked Penticton, Skaha Lake as well as the Okanogan Lake. Alot of the week was spent at Okanogan Lake, playing on the beach, waterskiing, which i have not done for a while, but i still got it!! I tried wake skating as well, and actually was able to get up. We took the jet skii's out, we watched the Snowbirds shoe sitting in the boat in the middle of the lake, golfed a round at Skaha meadows at 6:40am! (it was beautiful, early but beautiful) Ate out at a few different restaurants, that were quite delicious, and played cards until i won my money back. I fell in love with the Baker family, they were so gracious and fun. To add to the excitment, we killed a rattlesnake, and i will post some pics because although it was disgusting, it was kinda cool. So that was my brief week in review!!

ReplyDeleteBreanne, I don't think this blog post is any more graphic than your post about biking to Taber.
ReplyDeleteKristy, very cool. Glad you were able to do some wake skating. Sounds like fun. You will have to take us out there next time we are in Canada. We look forward to more blog posts and following your 'Woman vs. Wild' training.
